Job Title 1 - Youth Event and Marketing Coordinator (Non-Profit, Summer) 

Job Description 

Opportunity for youth to step into a hands-on role planning and executing community events, from idea to execution with full support and mentorship.

The individual will pitch creative event ideas that connect with local residents, develop a promotional plan to boost awareness and grow engagement via largely online channels with exposure to web design, social media marketing, and AI, then help plan the event logistics, timelines, and budgets.  

Youth will coordinate with vendors, partners, and community members, track progress and adjust plans based on weekly feedback and guidance, and participate in on-site event management, setup, and execution.

The individual will develop skills in communication, collaboration, creativity and innovation, digital skills, organization, marketing communications, decision-making, business management, web design, and using AI.

Job Title 2 - Youth Marketing Specialist (Non-Profit, Summer) 

Job Description 

Opportunity for youth to support promoting events, boosting community engagement, and developing marketing plans to reach new residents.  

The individual will support the promotion of community events, create engaging content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)., schedule and publish posts using social media management tools, help develop marketing materials such as posters, flyers, and digital graphics, and collect photos, testimonials, and stories from events (with consent).

The individual will develop skills in communication, collaboration, creativity and innovation, digital skills, marketing communications, decision-making, and using AI.
